The Ras Al Khaimah resort Wynn Al Marjan Island will have its own superyacht harbour, Wynn Marina, with 98 berths. Wynn unveiled the plan in reports published on 5 October 2026. The marina is designed to take super and megayachts as long as 85 metres. Wynn says no hotel marina in the UAE will hold more yachts or larger ones.
The harbour is circular, with berths laid out like spokes inside a sheltered basin up to 5 metres deep. Marina Solutions International drew up the design, and Fort Lauderdale-based IGY Marinas will operate it. Homes, terraces, restaurants and promenades will face the water.
A building called the Capitainerie will be the arrival point and operations base, with guest services, a concierge and support for captains and crew. Guests arriving by sea will be able to check in on board. Owners and charter guests are promised restaurant bookings, transport, provisioning and onboard celebrations. The resort's president, Max Tappeiner, described the marina as a direct extension of the resort.
The resort itself, roughly 50 miles from Dubai International Airport on Al Marjan Island, is scheduled to open in September 2027. Khaleej Times reports that the opening was first set for March 2027 and was pushed back because of supply chain problems. In August, Wynn said the estimated construction bill was up $600 million at around $5.7 billion. Plans include 1,530 rooms and suites, a total of 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, a beach club and a spa.
Gulf News reported the plans, and Khaleej Times covered the resort timeline.
