Winter City returns to Expo City Dubai's Al Wasl Plaza from 11 to 31 December

Expo City Dubai will hold Winter City at Al Wasl Plaza from 11 December to 31 December. The event is open daily from 4pm to 10pm. General admission tickets start at Dh60, and an Express Gate Pass costs Dh175.

The programme includes holiday films shown after sunset, Christmas lights and a large Christmas tree. Children can write letters to Santa and visit him at his Grotto. Mrs Claus' Bakery will sell sweet treats, and snow effects are planned. A winter market will also run as part of the event.

Disney+ is taking part. Visitors can watch toys come to life, see superheroes in action and explore a snowy kingdom, according to the report.

For visitors planning an evening out, the event falls in the second half of December, when many people are in the city for the holidays. Those staying nearby can check hotels in Dubai or book a table through the restaurants catalogue.

Gulf News reported the details on 21 October.
