Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has announced UNIFYD, a new Indian music festival in Abu Dhabi. The first edition is set for 20 March 2027 at Etihad Live on Yas Island. General ticket sales open at 10.30am UAE time on 20 October 2026.
The one-day programme will feature over 15 artists on multiple stages. Arijit Singh and Karan Aujla are among the first names confirmed. Sonu Nigam will give a special performance, which organisers say is his first at a music festival. More performers are still to be announced.
Khan will oversee the festival's artistic direction. Production is handled by D'YAVOL Live and District. Abu Dhabi's culture and tourism authority and Miral are collaborating on the event, and Emirates NBD is an associated partner.
Tickets will be sold only through the District app. Emirates NBD cardholders get early access from 9.30am UAE time on 19 October until 9.30am on 20 October. Ticket prices have not been disclosed.
Organisers say they intend to extend UNIFYD to other cities and international markets once the Abu Dhabi debut is done. No dates or locations have been given.
Residents and visitors based in Dubai should note that the venue is in Abu Dhabi, not Dubai. Trips to the emirate can be arranged through DoBy's Abu Dhabi tours.
The National reported the announcement on 16 October. Khaleej Times and Gulf News carried the presale details.
