Meydan Racecourse hosts the opening night of the new Dubai Racing Carnival on Friday, 6 November. Emirates sponsors the season, which has 16 race meetings and finishes on 12 March 2027, Dubai Racing Club said.
Festive Friday, Fashion Friday and Emirates Super Saturday are the three feature days of the programme. Meydan will also run hospitality and entertainment experiences for visitors through the season.
The Carnival leads to the 31st Dubai World Cup at Meydan on Saturday, 27 March 2027. The card has nine races, with total prize money of US$30.5 million.
Opening night is a seven-race card, according to Khaleej Times. Saudi trainer Abdullah Al Monif will send out Allajayn and Brave Vekoma that evening.
Last season set a record for international variety. Trainers from 10 racing jurisdictions took part, 47 in total. Horses trained overseas numbered 130 and made up over one fifth of all runners. Winners came from five countries. Dubai Racing Club says several prominent trainers have already confirmed they will compete this season.
The club's chairman, Sheikh Rashed bin Dalmook Al Maktoum, said the aim is to keep raising the quality and international reach of the event.
For visitors planning to attend, race days are spread between 6 November and 12 March, with World Cup night on 27 March. Those who want to stay nearby can look at rental options in Meydan.
WAM reported the schedule and figures, and Khaleej Times added details on opening night.
