Dubai's National Month celebrations start on 3 November and run to 2 December 2026. Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the emirate's Media Office, announced the programme on 2 November. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, Second Deputy Ruler and head of the Dubai Media Council, launched it. Government, semi-government and private sector bodies are taking part.

The month highlights the UAE's national identity, heritage and achievements, and pays tribute to the Founding Fathers. It ends with the country's 55th Eid Al Etihad.

Brand Dubai names five key initiatives. They are the UAE Flag Day events, the Eid Al Etihad festivities, the Flag Garden, the UAE Parade and a short film contest titled Stories of Our Determination. The Dubai Films and Games Commission, which operates under the Dubai Media Council, started the contest. It invites creative people to tell stories about unity and determination.

Brand Dubai will stage its own events and coordinate with partners so that the programmes fit together. Organisations across the emirate are expected to arrange activities for their staff, visitors and the wider community.

Dates and locations of individual events have not been announced. Brand Dubai says they will be released gradually, and more events with partners will be added.

Khaleej Times reported that the Flag Garden is normally set up on the beachfront at Umm Suqeim, close to Burj Al Arab. The theme and number of flags for this year are not yet known. The 2025 display used 11,000 flags across an area of 60 by 90 metres. UAE Flag Day falls on 3 November and National Day on 2 December.

For residents and visitors, the month means public events across the emirate, with schedules to be published by Brand Dubai and its partners. Those who want to stay close to the beachfront can browse Umm Suqeim rentals.

WAM carried the official announcement. The National, Gulf News and Khaleej Times also covered it. Gulf News gave the end date as 3 December, while WAM, The National and Khaleej Times say 2 December, which this story follows.
