Registration for the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge opened on 1 October. The city programme runs from 31 October to 29 November 2026 and asks residents and visitors to do 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 days. This year's slogan is "What's Your 30x30?". Sign-up is free at dubaifitnesschallenge.com.

Four mass events anchor the month. Dubai Ride, the cycling event, opens the programme on 1 November. Stand-up paddle races follow on 7 and 8 November at Hatta Dam. Dubai Run takes place on 22 November on a route that follows Sheikh Zayed Road and passes through Downtown Dubai. Dubai Yoga closes the challenge on 29 November.

Organisers also plan three free Fitness Villages, plus over 23 Community Fitness Hubs, with thousands of free sessions ranging from yoga and walking to padel, basketball, football and volleyball. The full class calendar will be published later.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, launched the challenge in 2017. Its first nine editions drew more than 16 million participants. Dubai Run had 70,000 runners in 2019 and over 307,000 in 2025, while Dubai Ride had more than 40,000 cyclists last year.

Several international events fall in the same window: Emaar Dubai Premier Padel P1 from 8 to 15 November, the DP World Tour Championship golf from 12 to 15 November, the Dubai T100 Triathlon from 13 to 15 November, the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix on 21 and 22 November and the Emirates Dubai 7s from 27 to 29 November.

The challenge is open to every age and fitness level, and participants pick activities that fit their routine. It coincides with the UAE Year of the Family, so organisers are encouraging families, friends and colleagues to sign up together. Saeed Hareb, who leads the Dubai Sports Council as Secretary General, credited "the simplicity of the 30x30 concept" for drawing people of all ages.

Khaleej Times reported the opening of registration.
